The town's longest running amateur dramatic group. Their programme includes the town's major pantomime every January and a variety of other plays throughout the year. New members welcome.

Alnwick Playhouse Youth Theatre - Autumn 2008

Junior 7-9 year olds (£25), Saturdays 10.45am - 11.45am rehearsals for 'Aladdin' (11/12 November)
Middle 10 - 13 year olds (£30), Saturdays 9.00am - 10.30am rehearsals for 'The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe' (17/18 December)
Senior 13 - 19 year olds (£35), Saturdays Noon - 2.00pm rehearsals for 'South Pacific' (25-27 November)

Rehearsals commence Sat 6 September for the Junior Group, Sat 13 September for the Middle & Senior.

An opportunity for children aged between 7 and 19 years old who want to sing, dance and act. No previous experience is necessary - just bags of enthusiasm, commitment and a sense of humour.

Applications
To apply please submit a completed application/consent form together with the appropriate cheque payment (see above) to be received by the box office no later than Thursday 21st August.

Places are limited and if over subscribed will be allocated by way of a draw taking place on Friday 22nd August. All applicants will be notified whether or not successful by Wednesday 27th August and cheques will be returned to unsuccessful applicants.

Alnwick Stage Musical Society

Established in 1986, this large amateur company present a major Musical in March each year. They also give other concerts and performances throughout the year. New members are welcome, whether wanting to perform or to get involved backstage.

NTC Touring Theatre Company

NTC is a professional, small scale touring theatre company based at Alnwick Playhouse. The company's artistic policy is to provide a professional touring theatre of the highest quality, particularly in theatreless zones in rural areas. They usually tour with four productions a year.
