Join us for a special afternoon with bestselling author Ann Cleeves and Crime Scene Investigator Helen Pepper as they walk you through the murder scene in Ann’s new and 10th Vera Stanhope novel The Rising Tide. Helen is Senior Lecturer in Policing at Teeside University and the forensic expert and consultant for ITV’s Vera as well as the novels. Together they’ve made countless forensic and criminal storylines accurate and entertaining covering it all from 10 year-old bodies in bogs to the dangerous tides surrounding Holy Island.

Parking is located to the rear of the Playhouse in the public car parks. Parking discs are required to be displayed until 6pm and are available from the Visitor Information Centre located within the Playhouse building. Please check individual car park signs for any time restrictions.
