Get ready to GO WILD with The McDougalls – Scotland’s famed children’s theatre troupe as they visit Alnwick Playhouse for the first time!

Come and join Max, Auntie Aggie and their best friend Morag the Rabbit as they head out on a Safari Adventure – live on stage!

Join the gang for musical mayhem and fun in the jungle, in a fast-paced family show packed with toe-tapping singalong songs like “I Think I’ll Go and Eat Worms” and “Down in the Jungle Where Nobody Goes”.

From silly snakes to laughing giraffes, they need YOUR help to look after all the animals.

Come dressed as your favourite animal for a terrific live theatre experience for little ones and their families filled with colourful creatures and bucket loads of audience participation.

Your Visit

We look forward to your visit!

Parking is located to the rear of the Playhouse in the public car parks. Parking discs are required to be displayed until 6pm and are available from the Visitor Information Centre located within the Playhouse building. Please check individual car park signs for any time restrictions.

Grab a bite to eat at McKenna’s or why not relax and enjoy a drink in our Playhouse Bar? The bar serves an extensive range of drinks including draught and local bottled beers, wines, a specialist gin list and cocktails.

Measures we are taking in regard to arrival times for performances/film and the availability of refreshments will be communicated nearer to the time of your booking in a pre-show email.
