Postponed - New date to be announced / Main House

Award winning Victoria Melody “the female theatrical Louis Theroux” Oxford Mail has become a pigeon fancier, northern soul dancer, beauty queen, championship dog show handler and a funeral director all for material for her theatre shows. In 2017 she embedded herself in her latest tribe – British amateur stand-up comedy- despite a surprise diagnosis and a comedy teacher telling her to give up. Her show “Professional Stranger” (“An off-piste comic treat”★★★★ What’s On Stage) follow’s Victoria’s journey as she embarks on the difficult business of being funny.

Always the obsessive Victoria (“a rare talent”★★★★★ Fest Magic) will be wearing technology that shows in real time what happens to the brain when you tell jokes. It’s a genuine and rip-roaring insight into the secret world of stand up. But can she be funny enough to make it?
