“Green Screen” is a new strand of ecological documentaries brought to you by UK Green Film Network and Alnwick Playhouse. Endeavouring to make screening and viewing environmental films easy, accessible, and engaging.

When a mysterious tidemark of poisoned crabs & lobsters devastates a small North East fishing town in England, veteran fisherman Stan Rennie’s life is transformed overnight.

Faced with ambivalence from those in power, grief soon gives way to a turbulent quest for answers, led by the unlikeliest of rebels.

A wry, David and Goliath story, told with gallows humour and a strong local accent, about the pain and power of navigating a world which has suddenly, inexplicably changed forever.
