Vanessa comes from a small village on the edge of the Yorkshire Dales National Park, where she lives with her husband and their loyal companion, Digby Dog.

She is a British Master Florist and a double Silver medallist at the Chelsea Flower Show, but don’t let that put you off — she’s just as happy chatting flowers over a cup of tea (or a gin and tonic at the weekend!). Her work has included decorating Westminster Abbey and creating floral designs across the Bolton Abbey Estate for weddings and events throughout the year.

Vanessa is a National Demonstrator for NAFAS and is honoured to have been invited to represent NAFAS at WAFA Australia in 2027. When she’s not surrounded by flowers, she loves spending time with her children, who have now flown the nest – and in her spare time, she can often be found skiing down mountains in the Alps.
