Join Hugh Bonneville at Alnwick Playhouse for a special In Conversation event, followed by a book signing with Alnwick StoryFest’s Suzy Walker.

From Downton Abbey to Paddington, Hugh has created some of the most recognisable characters on stage and screen. Now, he’s coming to Alnwick to share stories from an extraordinary career spanning theatre, television and film – including the experiences behind some of his best-known roles.

Hugh will also talk about his life as an author, including his latest children’s book, Rory Sparkes and the Spy Who Loved Tea, the second adventure in his bestselling Rory Sparkes series.

Expect an entertaining and revealing afternoon of stories, memories, theatre and screen, with plenty of time to discover the man behind the characters.

The In Conversation will be followed by a book signing, giving audiences the opportunity to meet Hugh and take home a signed copy of his latest book – just in time for Christmas.

Best of all, net profits from ticket sales will be donated to The Alnwick Garden Trust, supporting its community and education work across Northumberland.
