The session will begin with a reading of Lucy’s new picture book ‘Li and Errol’s Answer Bot’ and an introduction to her work, followed by a mini-picture book making workshop. The activity will incorporate provided prompts and a range of materials, enabling the children to create a picture book, with or without words, that they can take away.

Lucy Farfort is an award winning children’s book illustrator and author based in Newcastle. She has worked with publishers including Tate, Faber, Little Tiger Press and Scholastic. Her debut picture book was nominated for a Yoto Carnegie. Alongside her artistic practice, Lucy also works as facilitator and teaching assistant.
