Cowbridge Male Voice Choir is a leading and thriving Welsh male voice choir that aims to sustain and promote the great Welsh tradition of male voice singing. Established in 1971 in Cowbridge, Vale of Glamorgan, the choir has 90 plus choristers and is renowned for the quality of its singing and diversity of repertoire. Furthermore, Cowbridge Male Voice Choir is a registered charity and has raised enormous sums of money for a variety of good causes since foundation. As of January 2026, the figure stands at £920,000, so the big £1 million is now tantalisingly close! Charity organisations including Mind, Samaritans, Maggies, Horatio’s Garden, RNLI, Prostate Cymru, Action for Children, and St John Ambulance, have all been recent beneficiaries of charity concert monies, for which the choir never charges a performance fee.

Cowbridge Male Voice Choir performs extensively across the UK and overseas. Over recent years, touring concerts have been undertaken in Cyprus, France, Spain and, memorably in 2025, Bavaria, where we performed with German Winds and Northumbrian Winds symphonic orchestras in astonishing venues near Munich. Meanwhile recent UK locations have included Isle of Wight, Lake District, Jersey, Devon, Somerset, and the Choir performed for the first time this year at the Cornwall International Male Choral Festival, coming a very credible fourth out of 10 Male Voice choirs.

Northumbrian Winds is a vibrant, project-based symphonic wind orchestra bringing together nearly 60 passionate brass, woodwind, and percussion musicians from across the North East of England. Founded in January 2023 by conductor Andy Taylor on the philosophy that "Music Connects," the ensemble focuses on high-quality collaboration, cultural exchange, and performing in historic, spiritual spaces.

Originally formed for a single, ambitious project, the group’s destiny changed during a 2023 tour of Germany. After a landmark performance during a special Mass inside the majestic Cologne Cathedral, the immense camaraderie and musical chemistry inspired the players to establish the orchestra permanently.  Under Andy Taylor's direction, their music spans powerful symphonic wind compositions, cinematic scores, traditional Northumbrian folk tunes, and major classical works.  NW has become renowned for thematic regional concerts.  In 2025 a highlight being their "In Praise of Earth" concert at Hexham Abbey, performed directly beneath Luke Jerram’s spectacular, suspended Gaia earth installation.

Northumbrian Winds toured Ireland in September 2026, with concerts in Ardee, with the Ardee Concert Band, in Limerick the Thomond Wind Ensemble and in Wexford with the HFC Concert Band.
