Anne-Marie Sanderson - Corydalis Tour

Anne-Marie Sanderson is an artist whose music is at once earthy and airy, grounded yet ethereal. Drawing inspiration from nature, literature and the complexities and contradictions of modern life, Sanderson’s haunting melodies and poetic lyrics mesmerise and enchant.

Corydalis, Anne-Marie’s new album (out 7th Jan 2027) marks a new phase in the songwriter’s artistic evolution. By turns mysterious, introspective, yearning and ultimately uplifting, this cinematic collection of piano-led songs and instrumentals opens up a new sound-world, distinct from the delicate acoustic guitar that has underpinned her previous work. Corydalis (named after the delicate yet resilient plant found growing in cracks in walls) shines a light on the power of little things, and the glimmers to be found in unexpected places.

Anne-Marie will be touring the album in 2027, performing solo in intimate venues and playing songs from her back catalogue alongside the new album. She brings an intimate and atmospheric set, blending the delicate introspection of Nick Drake with the expressive, ethereal tones of Kate Bush. Accompanying herself on guitar and piano, her performances are quietly powerful and deeply moving.

Having cut her teeth on London's open mic scene in the late 00s, then honed her craft for several years in the songwriters' haven of Portland, Oregon, Anne-Marie now resides in her native Cumbria. Her music has been played on regional and national BBC radio, and she has toured in the UK, Europe and USA.
