In the tradition of artists such as Ludovico Einaudi, Ólafur Arnalds and Max Richter, Composer Circle celebrates the beauty and emotional power of modern piano music, bringing together three distinctive musical voices for an afternoon of evocative melodies, atmospheric soundscapes and conversation.

Music has a way of becoming the soundtrack to our lives, capturing feelings, places and memories that words sometimes can't. Each of these composers brings their own perspective to the piano, creating music that can be uplifting, poignant, peaceful or quietly powerful.

Taking turns at the Playhouse's Steinway grand piano, the three composers share their music and the stories behind it in a relaxed, informal setting that brings audiences closer to the artists and their creative process.
